Kelly graduated from Purdue University in 2006 with a double major in Health and Fitness and Movement and Sport Science. While attending Purdue, she participated in intramurals and worked as a fitness supervisor at a Purdue based facility, A.H. Ismail Center. Currently Kelly is pursuing a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant at the University of Indianapolis. She participated in volleyball, basketball and track and field while in high school. She has experience in instructing gymnastics and swimming and coaching basketball and volleyball. Kelly enjoys running and training for various half and full marathons. Kelly’s personal training goal is to assist her clients in accomplishing their individual health and fitness goals and make them see first hand the rewards of making fitness a part of their daily routine.

Christine finished her bachelor’s degree in General Dietetics at Eastern Kentucky University in May 2008. She recently completed her Dietetic Internship at IUPUI and passed the registered dietitian exam. Christine is originally from Cincinnati, so of course she loves all Cincinnati sports teams. (Go Bengals!) While at Eastern Kentucky, Christine played on the EKU Club Soccer Team. A few of her hobbies include: indoor soccer, cooking/baking, and reading. Christine loves to talk about food, football, and soccer

Nat has been in the fitness and health industry for 8 years and has a wide range of experience working with a large spectrum of the population. Nat has had the opportunity to work at a hospital based fitness and cardiac rehab center in Columbus, Ohio and corporate fitness. He has enjoys helping people achieve their goals. The fulfillment of teaching people to exercise, motivating and providing them with the means to take responsibility for their fitness and health is rewarding. Nat enjoys cycling whether it is road riding or mountain biking. He also teaches indoor cycling classes. Nat believes that fitness can help you enjoy and succeed in your personal recreation activities.

Tomoko Shimano

Originally from Japan, Tomo came to the U.S. to earn her Master’s Degree from the University of Connecticut. While at UCONN, she was a research assistant at the Human Performance Laboratory. As an intern at the University’s strength and conditioning facility, she worked with the basketball, volleyball and softball teams. She assisted both the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams in becoming National Champions. Tomo’s goal is to provide technical training to maximize her client’s performance in achieving their individual goals.

Shane Moat

Personal Trainer

Shane has been working as a personal trainer for 6 years. He attended Indiana University with a football scholarship where he played 5 years in the Big Ten Conference. Prior to finishing his undergraduate degree, Shane entered into a graduate program at IU. Shane enjoys training all types of individuals and has worked with everyone from clients interested in functional fitness to all different types of athletes. Shane is currently a professor of Exercise Science at Marian University, the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Marian University and an instructor in Therapeutic Exercise at the Indiana Therapeutic Massage School. He believes in living a healthy lifestyle and likes to help individuals set goals to improve their quality of life.

Melissa has personal trained for the past 10 years and enjoys the variety of clients and routines that personal training brings. Anne graduated from Purdue University with a double major in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness and Health. While at Purdue Anne was on the crew team and on a nationally ranked lightweight boat. For the past year Anne has been working as a rehab tech at a long term acute care hospital helping people get back on their feet. In the Fall Anne is continuing her education and pursuing a nursing degree. She enjoys working with people of all levels and ability. Anne believes with a little help and motivation you can always get back on your feet and become the best you can be.

Rafael graduated from Indiana State University in 2008 with a major in Exercise Science. He started his college career at Purdue University with a full ride scholarship for football. Rafael then transferred to Indiana State University where he finished up his collegiate football career and education. While in high school Rafael participated in athletics all year round including basketball, track and football. He enjoys anything that involves movement of the body and competition. Rafael’s goal in personal training is to help people identify fun ways to live a healthy lifestyle for a lifetime.
